Massive Charging is a full-stack EV charging infrastructure company building and operating an integrated charging ecosystem across India. The company combines charging hardware, network software, payments, consumer applications and on-ground operations on a single platform — serving EV users, fleets, charge-point operators, automobile OEMs, real-estate developers and commercial properties.
Its hardware portfolio ranges from 3.3 kW residential AC chargers to 240 kW DC fast chargers, including dedicated solutions for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial fleets. This is supported by an operator-grade Charging Management System that provides real-time charger monitoring, remote control, tariff management, performance analytics and companion mobile applications.
Massive Charging differentiates itself through its UPI-native and open-network approach — users can discover chargers, initiate sessions through QR codes, the Massive app or WhatsApp, pay directly through UPI and receive digital invoices without RFID cards or prepaid wallets.

At Massive, every team member is expected to take ownership of assigned projects — shaping direction, making timely decisions, speaking with users when needed, and communicating progress with senior management. Every role is full-stack in nature.
Unfortunately, not many companies operate this way. Most follow a Supervisor–Team Member model, where supervisors are expected to drive execution. As a result, people who can think independently, build, and scale on their own are relatively rare.
We found that conventional interviews do not effectively assess qualities such as ownership, initiative, judgment, taste, or a productive approach to problem-solving.
Additionally, one of the most common reasons people struggle in startups is the inability to adapt to how startups operate. Things move quickly, roles evolve constantly, and many problems are less defined than they are in mature organizations. This is why we have designed the following selection process.
Our Selection Process.
Designed to help both the Company and the candidate determine whether there is a strong mutual fit — minimising post-joining dissonance for everyone.
Defining the Role
We begin with a set of role-specific questions based on the Job Description. Based on your responses and the required attributes for the role, an initial shortlist is created.
Understanding Massive
Shortlisted candidates receive a detailed document titled "Massive Hiring Process", which introduces the Company, our philosophy, culture, and the way we work.
Online Assessment
Candidates complete an online assessment designed to evaluate aptitude, analytical thinking, and language proficiency. Only the top 50% of scorers progress to the next stage.
HR & Technical Discussions
Candidates who qualify the assessment participate in an HR interview, followed by a Technical or Team Lead interview to evaluate role-specific skills and overall alignment.
Assignment
Following the interview rounds, candidates are given a written assignment and a couple of days to complete and submit it. This lets us understand how you think, communicate, and execute independently.
Founder Conversation
Candidates who successfully complete the assignment are invited for a final discussion with the Founder. This is a two-way conversation — we encourage you to ask as many questions as possible to determine whether Massive is the right place for your career.
Offer & Your First 90 Days
A strong mutual fit has been confirmed. We share a Provisional Offer Letter along with "Offer Guidelines" which provides deeper insights into Company strategy and your role. As the final step, you prepare a 30/60/90-day execution plan.
30/60/90-Day Execution Plan
Candidates preparing to join Massive are expected to create a 30/60/90-day Execution Plan — defining goals, key milestones, and execution strategy for their first three months.
The plan establishes a clear benchmark for both the candidate and the Company to measure progress and track performance from day one.
Optional Work Trial
For roles such as Content Creation, Design, Marketing, and similar execution-focused positions, candidates may be invited to participate in an optional Work Trial — a short assignment or collaborative project that simulates a real working environment.
We believe this creates a more informed decision for both parties while significantly reducing post-joining dissonance.
