What you deploy and how you charge depends on shift length, route density, and battery size. Pick the right pattern.

Ride-hailing & cabs

Central depot · overnight 22kW AC

Drivers return to depot between shifts. 22kW AC charges a 40kWh battery fully in 2 hours — perfect for 4-hour rest windows. Add 2–4 DC guns for top-ups.

Logistics & 3PL

Hub-and-spoke · 60–120kW DC

Delivery vans do 200–300 km/day. Midday top-up at hub + overnight AC trickle. Load-balance across 20+ vehicles so the feeder never trips.

The scheduler

Every vehicle leaves 100% by shift start.

The fleet scheduler ingests shift rosters and route plans, then solves for lowest-cost charge across ToD tariff and feeder capacity.

Case study

Milo Drive · 280 cabs · Bhiwandi depot.

Milo Drive · 2025

From feeder-capped to 280 vehicles on one site.

Milo Drive's Bhiwandi depot had 1.2MW sanctioned and needed to charge 280 cabs overnight on a shared feeder. Naive scheduling tripped the main breaker twice a week. We rebuilt the site with 22 AC pedestals, 2 DC units, and the Massive load manager.

The first month the scheduler paid for the entire capex. We haven't tripped a breaker since.— Ops lead, Milo Drive Bhiwandi

Common questions

Fleet depot charging: answered.

What's the difference between depot charging and public charging for a fleet? add
Depot charging is load-balanced across a shared feeder at a single site where vehicles return between shifts, scheduled around shift rosters and time-of-day tariffs. Public charging fills gaps mid-route but isn't feeder-planned or schedule-aware, so it's usually the more expensive, less predictable option for a fleet's core charging need.
How is feeder capacity planned for a large fleet depot? add
Feeder sizing is based on total fleet vehicle count, battery size, shift overlap, and charger mix (AC vs DC). Massive's scheduler load-balances across the sanctioned feeder capacity in real time — the Milo Drive Bhiwandi depot runs 280 vehicles on a single 1.2MW feeder with zero breaker trips since rebuild.
Can a fleet with mixed 2W, 3W, and 4W vehicles use one depot plan? add
Yes. Charger mix and layout are built per depot based on the actual fleet composition — Bharat AC and swap bays for high-count 2W/3W fleets, 22kW AC plus DC top-up guns for 4W cab and logistics fleets, often combined on the same site.
Does the scheduler work with our existing telematics or route data? add
The fleet scheduler ingests shift rosters and route plans to solve for lowest-cost charging across time-of-day tariffs and feeder capacity — talk to a fleet specialist about your existing telematics setup for integration specifics.
How long does it take to get a depot plan? add
Send fleet shape (vehicle count, routes, shift patterns, feeder capacity) and Massive returns a depot plan within a week.

Charge every vehicle. Never miss a shift.

Tell us your fleet shape — vehicles, routes, shift patterns, feeder capacity — and we'll return a depot plan in a week.
