The wrong connector means chargers your vehicles cannot use. Type 6 and Type 7 are both Indian standards for light EVs, and a vehicle with one inlet cannot charge on the other. Check this before you spend anything.

On Type 7, or a mix?

Tell us what you run. We plan separate lanes for mixed fleets and size the feeder for the combined load, so you do not trip a breaker on day one.

Mixed or Type 7 Fleet?

Three checks before you buy any Type 6 or Type 7 charger

  1. Inlet. Confirm the inlet on every model in your fleet, from the OEM, in writing.

  2. Output. Ask for the voltage range, maximum current and whether the headline power is one output or two. The vehicle decides what it draws, so ask which of your models the unit has been tested with.

  3. Support. Ask what the warranty covers, and who responds when a bay goes down.

Send us the same three questions and we answer them for our unit, in writing. Ask us now →
